Infectious Disease and Antimicrobial Stewardship
The Infectious Disease Risk Management Committee is charged to develop policies, provide guidance, and develop training which sustain the health and safety of our patients and employees through monitoring and preventing the spread of infectious and zoonotic agents and promoting antimicrobial stewardship. The committee has a mandate for these activities across whole college, including clinical, teaching and research operations.
The areas of specialty include:
- Species – Equine, Exotic Animal (including reptiles, small mammals, birds), Farm Animal, Lab Animal, Small Animal (cats and dogs)
- Specialties – Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Microbiology, Dermatology, Emergency Critical Care, Epidemiology/Public Health, Medicine, Primary Care, Pharmacy, Surgery
